Michele Libby
Michele had been waiting since Jan 25, 2008 and finally received her transplant May 26, 2010. She resides in Lake Forest Park, WA and describes her recovery so far as "excellent"

Cheryl Gere
Cheryl lives in Bridgeport, WA with her husband Vance and their dog Katy. She was listed in 2008 and was transplanted May 25, 2010.
Sadly, Cheryl passed away Aug 20, 2010.
Jocelyn Byers lives in Chehalis, WA. She was listed Jan 13, 2010 and received her transplant May 14, 2010. Jocelyn suffers from cystic fibrosis.

Alicia, who lives in Kennewick, WA, was transplanted on April 14, 2010. She had been on the waiting list since June 12, 2006. She reports some setbacks but is doing better now.

Zach Young was listed in July 2009 and transplanted in April 2010. He lives in Black Diamond, WA. Recovery seems to be going well, and si far, he reports no issues.

Karen was transplanted on April 6, 2010. She and her husband, John, reside in Glide, OR. Recovery is going well. She is pictured here at our June Support Group meeting.

Pictured at the April Support Group Meeting, Kathlin was transplanted on Mar. 5, 2010. She lives in Seattle, WA and was listed on Mar. 27, 2009. She reports her recovery so far is "excellent"

Rebecca lives in Vancouver, WA and was listed on Feb. 23, 2009. She was transplanted on Feb. 24, 2010. Seen here 7 weeks later at the April Support Group meeting, she considers her recovery so far as "excellent". Follow her to transplant and beyond on her own website bye clicking HERE.
Rebecca and her care-givers send along some advice for other recent recipients: Care-givers need to plan to be with their post-op patient 24/7 for the first 3-4 weeks after transplant. It is advisable to arrange for occasional time away and an alternate care-giver to step in for that time.

Patricia Knipe was transplanted on Jan 26. She lives in Florence, OR. Pat was listed on Oct 15, 2009 and reports her recovery is going very well.

Roxanne is from Federal Way, WA. She was listed 5/22/09 and transplanted Jan 4 & 5, 2010. She states her recovery is going very well and advises others to follow all Drs orders, and taking your medications on time is very important.
